I first heard about Google Street View in the news and i thought that it was really creepy and that it was a bad idea because it's a total invasion of privacy and it's not safe. I then started to wonder if a picture of me was taken in any of these places so I went on the application and searched all the places that I usually would be at like school or at the bus stop. I needed to check because even if Google does blur out the faces of people, you can still identify them by their clothing and the back of their head even. Halfway through my searching, I started to have fun and thought that it was really cool that there's an entire world in this monitor. Maybe this application isn't so bad after all... as long as I'm not in it.
I typed in the places that i wanted to see in other countries like the Eiffel tower in Paris or the place that i used to live in Saudi Arabia. Whoever came up with the idea I think is brilliant but of course, all ideas have their cons. The minute that people heard about this idea, they thought of their privacy. I think that Google should have made a warning or something to tell us that they were going to do this or at least get permission from each neighbourhood or city. Did anybody even notice a car driving around with some 360 degree camera on top?

Google is a very successful, popular company which makes it an engine source that everyone can depend on. Google now has a reputation good enough to make it trustworthy. Therefore I believe that Google knows better than to break any laws and run into any trouble with the government. I trust Google's new tool and i find it very helpful and fun at the same time.

I agree with you when you say that Google Street View is a useful tool. The purpose of creating this application in the first place was to make our lives a little better than before it was created. I really like the point you gave about being able to see practically the entire world. To be honest, I find that really neat! I've never actually tried that before (watch me have fun with this application after posting this comment). However, I think that privacy is an issue that Google needs to address more carefully, to make sure that no one feels as though their sense of security is being threatened.
